Bad Oeynhausen: Guide

Bad Oeynhausen is a spa town in the Minden-Lübbecke district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, with a population of just over 50,000. The city is located on the banks of the Weser River, which runs along the eastern edges of the city.

After World War II Bad Oeynhausen became the headquarters of the British troops in Germany.

The German national football team|German international and Hertha BSC Berlin footballer Arne Friedrich was born here.

Bad Oeynhausen has the world's highest natural fountain, the Jordan Sprudel.

Just outside of the city lies the "Klinik Bad Oexen", a rehabilitation center for cancer patients.
