Griante is a Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 km north of Milan and about 25 km northeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 703 and an area of 6.1 km2.All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.

Griante borders the following municipalities: Bellagio, Menaggio, Tremezzo, Varenna.
