Scandicci is a Italian region Tuscany, located about 6 km southwest of Florence. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 50,003 and an area of 59.6 km2.All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.

The municipality of Scandicci contains the frazione|frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Badia a Settimo, l'Olmo, Bagnese, Capannuccia, Mosciano, Pieve a Settimo, Ponte a Greve, Ponte a Vingone, Rinaldi, San Colombano, San Martino alla Palma, San Michele a Torri, San Vincenzo a Torri, Scandicci Alto, and Vingone.

Scandicci borders the following municipalities: Campi Bisenzio, Florence, Impruneta, Lastra a Signa, Montespertoli, San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Signa.
