La Locandiera is housed in a small 17th century palace on Campo San Giovanni Novo, a peaceful and typically Venetian Square, few minutes away from St. Mark’s Square.

Opened in June 2004, and named after Carlo Goldoni´s masterpiece, the palace has been completely restored and refurbished. Elegantly furnished following the traditional classical Venetian style, all the rooms are equipped with the most modern comforts and facilities.

The hotel is in the heart of the hystoric and artistic area of Venice, only 100 meters from the Basilica and Palazzo Ducale. The majority of Venice´s main monuments, like Rialto Bridge, the Church of SS. Giovanni e Paolo and Saint Zaccaria, can be reached in a 10 minute’s walk.

La Locandiera can be easily reached in about 30 minutes by public water bus from the boat stops of Santa Lucia Railway Station (lines n° 1, 2, 51, 41) or Piazzale Roma (same lines) and Tronchetto (line 2). The hotel´s closest stop is the landing-stage of San Zaccaria, common to all lines.

Marco Polo International Airport is about 10 km far from Venice. You can reach Venice, and La Locandiera, by the shuttle-boat service Aliluguna. Landing-stage: San Zaccaria.
