Cabanes: Guide

Cabanes is a village and municipality in the provience of Castellón (Spain) with a population of 2600 inhabitants (2006).

Cabanes is located near the old roman road Via Augusta, where an arc of the second century can be seen. It seems it was built as a commemorative arc, but there is no any inscription to confirm this.

In the municipality stands the old settlement of Albalat dels Anecs, where several fortified buildings still remain.
