Empuriabrava: Guide

Empuriabrava is one of the largest marinas in the world. It is located on the coast of Girona, Catalonia.

Empuriabrava was originally built on a swamp, and was transformed into a bustling community of houses and markets. It is also the home of one of the biggest used boat sales in the world where one can buy a large yacht to a small fishing boat. It is also a very popular tourist attraction|tourist area, and holds annual festivals and parties.

Since it is situated in the Bay of Roses Empuriabrava is a very historical place. One can even take a short boat ride and visit a Greco-Roman acropolis on the shore. You can also learn to skydive at Empuriabrava airport, learn to sail in one if its many sailing schools, and eat the wonderful food that is trademark of Spain.
