Lepe: Guide
Lepe is a Spain|Spanish town in the province of Huelva (province)|Huelva, in the autonomous communities of Spain|autonomous community of Andalusia. It is situated near the Portugal|Portuguese border. According to the 2005 census, the city has a population of 22,709 inhabitants.
Lepe is known for its strawberry|strawberries. It is also the subject of hundreds of Spanish jokes.
The town was originally founded by the Phoenicians.
