Nearby attractions include:

Sultan Ahmed Mosque (200 metres) - built between 1609 and 1616 by order of the Sultan Ahmed I, after whom it is named. It is commonly known as ´The Blue Mosque´ due to its striking interior blue tiles.

Hagia Sophia (500 metres) - constructed between AD 532 and 537, this superb survivor of Byzantine architecture is often considered one of the greatest and most beautiful buildings in existence. It is now home to the Ayasofya Museum.

Basilica Cistern (600 metres) - the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that still lie beneath the city of Istanbul, capable of holding up to 80000 m³ of water.

Travel information
By Air:
From Atartuk Airport (13.5 km):
- Take the Metro train to Aksaray.
- Take a tram in the direction of Kabataş.
- Get off at Sultanahmet.
- Walk down Al Meydani Sokak (with the Blue Mosque on your left).
- Turn right with the bend at the end of the road.
- Turn left almost immediately.
- Turn right at the end of this stretch onto Sehit Mehmetpasa Yokusu.
- Cross the 1st junction and the hotel will be on the corner in front of you.
