The head chef, Chris Allen is a young and enthusiastic chef who uses the best products to produce wonderful traditional food with flair. Guests can also enjoy Chris' cooking in the Meridian Cafe Bar, where he brings a touch of the Mediterranean to the Ayrshire coast. Renowned for its excellent 14-inch stone-baked pizzas, mouth-watering pasta dishes, delicious steaks, special dishes, meals for 2 to share, and friendly, efficient staff, the Meridian is undoubtedly the place to eat, drink and watch the world go by.

The wine list for the Badge Bistro is compact, but fine wines have been specially chosen to accompany the traditional fare. The Meridian's wine list is extensive, with wines from all over the wine-growing world specifically chosen to accompany the style of the menu.

Reserving a table in either restaurant is advised as they do become busy, especially at the weekend.
