Castle Donington is a village with a population of around 7000 in the North of Leicestershire, close to Derby and Nottingham and on the edge of the National Forest, England|National Forest. It is the closest town to East Midlands Airport and DHL which are major employers. It's also home to Donington Park motor racing circuit.
Donington Park has been the venue for Heavy metal music|Heavy metal festivals such as Download Festival|Download, Ozzfest|the Ozzfest and Monsters of Rock since the early 1980s.
