Channings enjoys a quiet location, set on a cobbled street overlooking private gardens, yet is only 10 minutes' walk from the West End, where you can explore the city's many tourist attractions, such as Princes Street, the main shopping area overlooking Edinburgh Castle.

Should you wish to stay very close to home, Channings is just a short stroll from the very fashionable area of Stockbridge, often described as a 'village within the city'. Relax and unwind as you enjoy the vibrant cafe-culture that has developed and wander through the many one of a kind boutiques and galleries which have emerged in recent years, making this one of Edinburgh's trendiest areas.

Parking Restrictions:
Car parking is available on South Learmonth Gardens and the surrounding area. This is charged at GBP 0.70 per hour (for a maximum of 4 hours), Monday - Friday from 08.30 to 17:30. The hotel can assist you with your parking at GBP 5 for a half day, or GBP 10 for the full day. Outside these times the parking is free of charge.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
