One Spa offers guests the ultimate in luxury with: 11 multi-purpose treatment rooms; a hydrotherapy room; 19-metre ozone friendly pool; state-of-the-art fitness studio; and a carefully designed thermal suite with an impressive variety of holistic heat experiences, including an Aroma Grotto, Rock Sauna, Bio-Sauna, Tepidarium, Laconium and Hammam.

Unique to One is the outdoor hydro-pool, a stainless steel pool cut into the rooftop of the building with a cedar plank curved rear wall, accessed by swimming from the indoor hydro-pool. Dramatically lit at night, the 35ºC salt water evaporates into a soft mist in the air above the pool, creating an unforgettably relaxing and romantic image.

Many of the 260 spacious bedrooms have fabulous views of Edinburgh Castle. As well as the common facilities listed, each offers international power plugs, in-house films, telephones with voicemail and 24-hour room service.

Food & beverage

Area information
Follow the cobbled Royal Mile from the ancient Castle, which dominates the capital's skyline, to Holyrood Palace or wander through the narrow streets of the Old Town. If visiting in August, the hundreds of events that take place during the Edinburgh International Festival will enthrall you. Whilst a stay on New Year’s Eve will allow you to enjoy the World-famous Hogmanay (tickets are necessary in advance, not available from the hotel).

Travel information
By Car:
From the east:
- Follow the A1 west into Edinburgh.
- Follow the signs to the city centre.
- The hotel is located just of the west end of Princes Street on Western Approach Road just before the EICC.

From the north:
- Take the M90 from the north of Scotland, which passes through Perth.
- Cross the Forth Road Bridge into Edinburgh city centre and the hotel is located off the Western Approach Road.

From the west:
- Take the M8 Motorway from Glasgow, which joins the A71, to the city centre.
- The hotel is located just off the west end of Princes Street on Western Approach Road.
