Kingston Blount: Guide

Kingston Blount is part of the civil parish of Aston Rowant situated in South Oxfordshire. The village is a spring line settlement located at the foot of the Chiltern Hills. The 87 mile long Ridgeway, a national trail, runs to the South and the Lower Icknield Way to the North.

The village was recorded in Domesday as Chingestone. A discovery of late Iron Age cremation urns was discovered in 1974 at Elizabeth Villa along the High Street. The findings were placed in an Oxford museum.

The village contains one pub, The Cherry Tree and a large playing field where the parish's main events, such as the May Day are held.
