Hotel information On 30th November 1986, the Williams family bought the Brinkburn Hotel, merged it with the Richmond Hotel, and renamed it the Ambassador Hotel. Today, the former hotel names are commemorated. The Bodnod and Tegwell are the names of one the Ambassador’s lounges and ground floor function room respectively. The Glyn Isa, Richmond, Baldwin and Brinkburn are names used for the spa rooms. Our other spa room, The Gronwen, is named after the house occupied by Jim and Freda Williams, who were the first generation of the Williams family to own a hotel. Room information All rooms are en suite, either with shower or bath and shower. All are equipped with colour TV, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary beverage packs replenished daily. Bedrooms are served by 3 lifts. Sea front bedrooms have a view out to the bay. Side front bedrooms have partial sea and town views. Rear rooms have views of town and the Great Orme. Area information Today's Llandudno offers a modern shopping arcade, discreetly designed to blend with the traditional surroundings. The town centre boasts an impressive selection of shops, from small boutiques to national retailers. Venue Cymru on the promenade is a 1,500 seat theatre and conference centre, where West End shows and the Welsh National Opera perform. Travel information From Chester: - Follow the A55 into Wales and for continue for Conway. - Pass Mochdre and exit onto the A470 for Llandudno. - Turn left onto The Parade and take the 2nd left onto St. George's Place. - Take the 1st right and you will find the hotel. Cancellation policy Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 3.50 per night and person for cots. All children under 3 years stay free of charge for extra beds. All children from 4 to 13 years are charged 40 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Public parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs GBP 3.25 per day. Pets: Pets are not allowed.
